AN ENGLISHMAN IN NEW YORK
The Movie!

The new drama, An Englishman in New York, by Brian Fillis is based on the diaries Mr. Crisp wrote in the newspaper The New York Native and on conversations with New Yorkers who remember him.

The movie depicts Quentin Crisp's life in New York City during the 1980s and 1990s. Mr. Crisp moved from London to New York on September 13, 1981 at age 72.

This new biopic stars John Hurt, who portrayed Mr. Crisp in the 1975 movie The Naked Civil Servant. Included in the cast are Denis O'Hare, Swoosie Kurtz, Cynthia Nixon, and Jonathan Tucker.
