Resident Alien a one-man show based on the life and writings of Quentin Crisp, starring the legendary Bette Bourne and directed by Mike Bradwell, and composed by Quentin Crisp and Tim Fountain.
The show opened at London's Bush Theatre on November 10, 1999. It played a limited run at the New York Theatre Workshop during January and February 2001.
The production has won two OBIE awards and a Herald Angel at the Edinburgh Festival. It has also been broadcast on BBC Radio 3.
